Annie Poole
"I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. After attending a public technical high school with a focus on commercial art, I attended the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. I moved to Brooksville, Maine in 1980 after my first visit to the state and married in 1984 and had three children. Between 1986 and 1996 I was a freelance illustrator, creating work for local, regional and national publication. I home-schooled my children between 1986 and 2006. When my youngest child completed her home education I returned to painting with more consistency and seriousness."
