Notes:
I did a couple of sketches that I didn't like. I studied my tulips painting from the Montreal Botanical Gardens, Tulip Symphony HERE, and went back to do another. Did a detailed loose drawing, did the background with wet on wet dabs, finishing it off when dry with a wet water wash and then more color for value. But before that dabbed in the flowers, added some dark purple accents for value, and then smoothed them out with some zinc white gouache.
