Susan Abbott Paints
In the shadow of palm trees dappling shadows . . .
Susan paints as the light and shadows bounce, bounce, and
bounce again, full concentration, focused, and then,
with the painting almost done, . . .
bounce again, full concentration, focused, and then,
with the painting almost done, . . .
Susan moves to the full light until . . .
it's almost done, and done enough . . .
to share as the last thing with our last work critique.
It was a fabulous workshop, led by a knowledgeable,
personable sharing Susan Abbott and a class of fine classmates, Nea
Brown, Susan Carelli, Christiane Coloni, Colleen
Filler, Kathy Lowry, Jean Mataszewski, Nan McCarthy, Diana Nouri, Susan Shadis, Signe Sheldon, and Joan Von Weien.
Thank you Susan and thank you workshop mates
for a wonderful workshop where we all
stretched our painting skills
on a magnificent isle.
By the way,
wonder why that green color
is popular in the Bahamas?
It's because they. . .
"Put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em both together,
Put the lime in the coconut and then you'll feel better,
Put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up,
You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up."
Put the Lime in the Coconut by Harry Nilsson
Put the lime in your coconut,
great song, (3:51) HERE.
I quietly hummed it during our workshop.
