At the North End of Elbow Cay

Plein Air
What does one do when the snow is feets-deep and the temperature in Maine is below zero and there is no hope for painting plein air in Maine? You get on a plane and fly south to paint with the Hope Town plein air painters who paint on Tuesdays at Elbow Cay, Abaco, in the Bahamas.

Temperature high sixties/low seventies,
underfoot is sand not snow.
Landmark lighthouse at the right.

another painter and neighbor of Jan's
and native Bahamian

And believe it or not,
I miss the snow, but of course
if I was in Maine right now I'd miss the sand.
So I'm, like always, enjoying where I am.
