Warren Harden, 23 years-old, lives in Winter Harbor, Maine, up the road from Schoodic. "With each Schoodic Point piece I find myself connecting more and more with this incredible place. I always find myself drawn to Schoodic scenes because it's a place that never changes. There is comfort found in things that never change. I find that out on Schoodic. You can always count on the waves that go out then crash right back in." His acrylic portrait of Joshua Chamberlain hangs in the State House, Augusta, Maine. What inspires him to paint? "Seeing my grandfather's paintings, he has a ton of paintings and they're incredible. My dad, too, would sit there and do these incredible pieces and drawings. And so, I've kind of always been motivated by them to try to do some good stuff and get some of my own stuff that I can show my kids someday," Harden said. The artist's website on Facebook is HERE.
