Flowing to See
The weight of the past, hundreds of
years of massive ice, scrapes bottom,
rock pulverized to glacial till,
mixing with melting ice, flowing
into a river and over
many waterfalls, as pleasing
gray colors, on the way to the
ocean are met by clean, clear, pure,
mountain rainwater, creating
an edge of cobalt green color,
together on their journey to
embrace the waiting Atlantic.
