The Hallmark of Snow
by Bruce McMillan
It always falls
in Hallmark
Christmas movies,
predictably,
every time
at the appropriate moment,
big fluffy flakes,
softly drift down,
all around and onto
the romantic couple
accompanied by
soft twinkling music
as they discover
their obvious,
to everyone but them,
romance
amidst ever present
never melting
Hallmark snow flakes
that are always falling,
yet never piling up,
ever,
and so there's
no need to plow,
no need to shovel;
it's the hallmark
of Hallmark
movie land snow.

I really like the wet on wet that you worked through the whole painting.
