Mixing Colors, Mixing Seasons
by Bruce McMillan

With lemon yellow set on snow,
enjoying winter, I'm yearning
for the colors of summer, so
my mind turns to colors, churning,

mixing the snow blues from the sky
with lemon yellows thus making
greens of summer where I might spy
deep grassy greens awakening.

Beautiful... the words and the watercolor....
Summer in winter just by the power of colors.
