After some quick morning
showers it was a great day to paint
in Jericho, Vermont. While Ruth was drawn
to the edge of a hay field, I was drawn to
the delicate blue chicory flowers that open
during the day, interested
in focusing on one.

So I did two studies before doing the final painting for the show.
